Your team MUST be: James in goal although Foster looks promising. Richards, King, Rio, Bridge. Hargreaves, Pennant, Joe Cole, Gerrard free floating behind the strikers. Up front Rooney and Bent. Lita should be given a chance, I mean a decent chance unlike what you did with Andy Cole.
It seems I was too generous when I said before the WC that England had second round talent and that with some luck could reach quarterfinals. There's a lot of work to be done with this bunch of overrated players, but there's hope. Question is, is McClaren good enough tactician to coach a national team?
