Sinama has been a real surprise. I've always thought he was rubbish but he's having a very nice season with Recre.

Yeah, alot of people seemed to have thought he was a rubbish. His goalscoring record with us is false that's why. People see that he had 9 goals in 66 games and assume he was shit but never take into account that he has probably less than 20 starts for us. Most of his games came as 10-15 minute cameos off the bench and he's still put in some really big, important performances for us.

If we do sell him - and I hope we don't - he'll be at a big club again by the time he's 25, injuries permitting.

Can VDV make the step back up?

Yes he can .. he needs to leave HSV, head for Spain.

or come to to his club. Very Happy

Would he not be able to hack the premiership?

    Which club wants him?

VDV needs the 'right' philosophy and climate to succeed.

    He could do well, though.

I juts think he'd be a flop in England. Best if he moves to Spain where his technical ability is more appreciated and also the weather is much better.

Hes only 'fault' IMO, is leaving Ajax in the way he did .. i believe if the 'regime' at the time was Danny Blinds (Ajax last season) he would be still here .. however, he 'believed' that he was going nowhere with Ajax and not recognising a team with such 'expectations' is developing a new dynasty (the 8th since 1964..)

I think he went to HSV, because he knew they were going to put him no1, if he went a club like Barcelona, he would not be the 'man', i think he 'thinks' that he is the 'messiah' for HSV, their new Keegan ..

He made a huge error (or should i say his wife, who made him go there) who is laughing now, if Ajax keeps some of their 'new' stars for next season .. i hope he kicks himself. He must leave HSV.

He goes to ground more often in 90 mins than Makelele has in a career - perhaps he'll be a really good player when he's learnt to stay on his feet.

    Like Roy Keane? Erm

The Makelele comparison holds little water because that's not his job for Shakhtar. That's Duljaj's role in the side.

You're just jealous of his hair, admit it.

The manager hates him and does not start him anymore.

Any 'decent' coach would start him.

Mavuba is a player similar to Makelele. I don't see much in him but apparently he must be quite good, since lots of clubs are after him or where after him (Real). Just for the little story, he was born in a boat in international waters, far away from the Angolan coast, during the period of civil war, so it was a bit weird to know which nationality he was.

Toutalan has a very good future ahead of him, he played well at the beginning of the season for lyon. He also did quite well for his first apperance for the A team
