He is only 28 and i think he could be a great buy if we can get him fit, its good to see he feels he has something to prove.

I always liked Mpenza, though he's another Corradi - will play well but is never going to score that many.

Could be a good signing.
One of the Belgian players I actually liked, he was quality around the year 2000/2002.
His form dipped at Schalke though.

Re: City to sign Mpenza
used to be great on one of the old championship managers. 97/98 perhaps. edit: actually this might've been mbo mpenza
could be good. but you have to wonder about a player who moved to qatar in his prime footballing age

I'm pretty sure it was Mbo, not Emile. Pretty sure. All the champ managers sort of blend into one.

Emile was the one that was great in Champo
He used to have near perfect stats apart from his strength I seem to remember.
Mbo was classed as an attacking midfielder in the old champo versions

With Corradi, Vas and Samaras not scoring much Mpenza should help take the pressure off plus with Danny Sturridge coming through or attacking options suddenly look a lot better.

That's because mbo is. He plays more as a right winger who cuts inside than a striker.

De Mul is terrible as well
Dembele and especially Martens are superb...

He's good, its just his club coach makes him 'terrible' in your eyes.

It's a matter of principle, not whether someone actually takes offence. Otherwise it just becomes a game of playing the victim card. Ban yourself, otherwise I'm going to simply ignore the rules again and cause as much trouble as possible.

Whatever, you clearly do not have the cultural or football knowledge to relaise that my comment was tongue in cheek as the dutch have a reputation for producing technically gifted players wereas the belgians do not.
This means that it was, ironicaly, more of a compliment to the dutch due to their ability to create technically good footballers, and as i'm sure you will understand, Arsenal fans likne nothing more than technically good footballers.
Oh, and if you cause as mcuh trouble as possible; you'll get banned <ale>

If I get banned for making the same sorts of jokes as you then that just makes the mods part of the same hypocrisy. I'm perfectly happy with that - I can live without this place for a bit. But hypocrites always end up hating themselves. If you wish to provoke that, go right ahead.

Your welcome to make the same jokes as moi, and please use that as a benchmark as let's be honest here, you passed the benchmark on several occasions.

Who defines the benchmark? The hypocrite moderators?
I find it hilarious that those supposedly upholding the principles of equality (i.e. opposing oppression) seek to censor and ban anyone who transgresses their arbitrarily designed 'benchmarks'.

Who the fuck do you want to define benchmarks?
You just defined most succesful societies there so if you can't accept how that is how most societies work, i'm not going to waste my time dealing with a closet anarchist.

Most societies don't work - New Orleans is still rotting, Britain isn't a democracy, and capitalism is making the average person poorer, not richer.

Well naturally, we welcome the masses, allow the proletariat to rise up and allow it's voice to be heard. Go for it!

'It's the best we've got, even thought it doesn't achieve what it claims to'.
You're right to call me an anarchist, in that I'd prefer no society to a hypocritical, failing one. But ultimately, I'm a utopian.
