Kahn was not at fault for any of the goals against Real.

He's been in great form for over a year now. The defence are not doing him any favours.

It would be wise to remember that we are talking about Oliver Kahn here. An undisputed, 4 time world goalkeeper of the year. And the best goalkeeper since Rinat Dasaev and Jean-Marie Pfaff.

ok Real Madrid scored 3 goals from the "six yard box". He wasn't at fault for the first and third goals.

He is past it and should retire before he completelty destrys his reputation.

Ps Peter Schmeichel was much better than Kahn.

Schmeichel was a lughing stock at Man City and Villa, and even moreso on the BBC. he has no honour or class. On leaving Man Utd "I can't handle the pressure of the EPL anymore" then he joins their local rivals and tells his son to do the same instead of joining Man Utd youth team.

Schmeichel = classless and over rated. Kahn = legend. End of.

Well, I was seated behind our goal to the right in the first half and, let me tell you, the first and second he could have (should have) prevented. The defense was crap too, but especially for the first one I couldn't believe how long he stayed on the line.

He still has his moments (usually 'on' the line) but I do think it would've been wise to retire earlier. However, it doesn't diminish his achievements. For a few years back then he was the best I've ever seen.
