Good free kick from what I am hearing.

Along with Scholes he has been one of the star midfielders this season for me.

1-0 up against 10 men and Foster gets injured...

...Boothroyd had done a Warnock so no keeper on the bench (did we really need 3 forwards on the bench?!)

Foster couldn't kick so Mariappa was doing goal kicks - caused great uncertainty and led to a Wigan equaliser.

Big mistake from Aidy I'm afraid we're down.

    Thanks for having us.

Apparently Lennon had a great game- Jol was praising him AGAIN for his attacking threat. Another goal for Dimitar, another assist for Lennon.

Whenever it happens, I end up eventually thinking of Kimmy, I dont know why king

Post on here if you can get the goals from youtube, I searched today but couldnt find them <Ale>

    ok

Berbatov's finish was excellent- ball slightly behind him.

    Imperious technique. What a player.

    Jenas's goal was good too.

Reckon this is the moment Spurs can kick on, especially away from home?

but for comparisons with Bergkamp/teddy sheringham, Berbatov is the closest thing in England at the moment

    1trick,

I really think we're ready to kick on, yes. I think the return of Jenas has been so overlooked - 12 goals in 53 matches, very good, and I'm sure he'll get better. He's the only player who gets beyond the strikers from midfield reguarly. Zokora finally looks to be settling in, and I hope he's fully recovered from that bout of Malaria he had. Huddlestone is going to be an awesome player, but believe it or not, I feel that Tainio is the better option for now, because his ability to scrap in Midfield does make us tougher away from home.

I agree, whilst the Hudd started well his presence in midfield has waned. Possibly too early for him to be playing every game, especially when the team have struggled, its a lot of pressure even on such broad shoulders.

Zokora will prove his class, he's a talented player.

King's recovery is essential - Gardner has done okay, but he's in a whole different league to Ledley.

Definitely need to look at strengthening the full back positions in the summer - Rocha can play left I suppose, Pyo has looked well out of sorts, Essoue Ekkoto seems light weight to me. Chimbonda has been quality, but the worry is who will come in if he gets injured. Not a big fan of the canadian.

Keane/Berbie or Defoe/Berbie? Which is the better partnership you think TS?

BAE (Assou-Ekotto) is still young and learning his trade. We have to be patient with him, like we will with Hudds, and I'm sure he'll come good. People are way too harsh on LYP. He's not helped by the fact that whoever plays left mid for us always seems to drift back inside into the centre, thus leaving him hanging out to dry.

A healthy Ledders is obviously the missing piece in the jigsaw. Gardner's no King, but he's not confident because people always make direct comparisms between the 2. He's a decent player in his own right.

Defoe & Berbatov really work well together - seems like Berbs like a direct player rather than a player like Keane, who likes to do his fair share of floating and creating with guile too.

Yet, I feel the Mido/King combo can be equally as good, with Keane floating behind whist Mido beats up a back line - see Fulham on Sunday. If only the Egyptian could truly discipline himself. They were telepathic last season.

    I agree there.

Even though I rate Keane higher than Defoe, the Berbatov - Defoe partnership works very well.

5 points off of 7th, you think you'll make it?
