Well said Matrix
Matrix slams critical Capello Friday 23 February, 2007

Inter defender Marco Materazzi has slammed Fabio Capello for his recent criticism towards Italian football.
The Real Madrid Coach had declared that football in Italy was not as competitive, and therefore not as entertaining, as in England or Spain.
But the World Cup winner has hit back at the tactician who left Juventus, following their demotion to Serie B, last summer.
“I respect him because he is a great Coach and he has won everything, but I don’t always like what he says,” stated Materazzi.
“As facts show, he was perhaps a little bit too hasty in abandoning ship.
“It is easy for him now to say that Italian football isn’t great and isn’t competitive, seeing as he obtained most of his trophies here,” added the Nerazzurro.
“If Italian football isn’t at a certain level then it must mean that he isn’t really that good a Coach…”
Materazzi also commented on Inter’s 2-2 Champions League draw with Valencia, which leaves the tie weighted in the Spanish side’s favour for the return leg on March 6.
“We shall have to play like Wednesday night, with the same will to do well. With a bit of luck I am sure we can qualify,” explained Matrix.
“The dropping of Adriano? The Coach takes the decisions and these must be respected. There are 26 men in the squad and it is logical that someone has to rest.”
