How am i a glory hunter, i cant support the team from the town i am from?

It's because the big guys generally have no technique.. Part of it is down to simple physical attributes: higher centre of gravity, burning turning radius, slower accelaretion and part of it is down to (IMO) the fact that small players generally have had to rely on other things than pure physical power to survivie so they develop other facets of the game which suits our style much better..

I do agree that it would be nice with a physical player, but he will most likely replace either Motta or Edmílson, but they have to have great passing and technique because or else they will slow everything down (see Van Bommel). I think the most likely candidtate is Albelda or maybe Zapater.. but we will see.

As for Sneijder, it is true, then I think he will come in without anybody leaving because we are already a midfielder down compared to last year, since we sold Van Bommel without getting a replacement. 2 players for every position is the rule and currently Deco, Xavi and Iniesta are sharing 2 positions.

Sneijder would be decent for Bayern but I am not too keen on him , I think we are getting Sosa who is rated highly , the other AMC I would like(if we buy) would be Daniel Carvalho or Van Der Vaart.

Sosa will be more of a RM, a replacement for Deisler, according to Wurst-Uli.

Hmmm, then we need a AMC , still would love to see us signing Carvalho or Van Der Vaart.

He can play AM also, but if I were you, I'd buy an established player for that position. Carvalho or VDV are both very good choices.

Either that or we buy a RW like Keita , Jimenez,Quaresma etc.

Do you have to be a midget to perform on the midfield of Barca?? Dont get me wrong but I think Iniesta and Xavi are already better then him. And I think they should get a big, strong guy for the midfield. Their midfield was nowhere against the phisycal liverpool midfield.

And we need a striker as Piza is looking like on his way out , Dbjril Cisse , Kone, Love etc.

Deco defends a lot.. he is constantly pressuring and tackling. If Sneijder isn't willing to do these things then we have no use for him since he is hardly going to add much to the attack.

We saw how good he can do that at the world cup

Don't worry, this is a very faint rumour. Though we have "only" Deco, Xavi, and Iniesta for 2 midfield positions, I don't see us signing Sneijder just yet. Yes, he is a potential Deco replacement, but Deco is not done yet. There are plenty of midfield options for us:

- We can move Gudjohnsen a little deeper if we have to
- Motta can also play more attacking, and don't forget with injuries we played a slightly more defensive midfield of Motta-Edmilson-Deco against Chelsea last season, and did very well.
- Also, this season Rijkaard has played Gio in midfield sometimes.
- I also like the look of the new kid Marc Crosas. Another Guardiola/Xavi type player.


@Rai: Cruyff does admire Sneijder, and in his comments he said that Sneijder is a good player, but just isn't ready for Barcelona right now. I don't think he ruled him out forever.
