In terms of who you think has the best chance...

    For me:

    1. Chelsea
    2. Milan
    3. Liverpool
    4. Man Utd
    5. Valencia
    6. Bayern
    7. PSV
    8. Roma

roma did very well verses Lyon but they're very unpredicable and I can see them fucking up in the next round and going out.

Deisler actually said something smart in another thread. Chelsea may be the favourites to win, simply because they have the best squad, but if Liverpool play against Chelsea, they will go through.

    I can agree with that.

There is no thread without a United vs. Liverpool squabble. They so need to play against each other in the next CL round. Wink

Personally, if we never draw another English team in Europe, I'll be ecstatic. We play them twice a year in the premiership, that's enough.

Hopefully they get Chelsea and Chelsea get rid of them Ale

Far too much baggage with that game.

If it's a final, then fine. However I'd rather avoid both English teams in the quarters.

But odds are high for you to draw an English team, isn't it? 3 of the remaining 8 teams are EPL sides.

At this moment of time, the EPL is the strongest league in the world, there is no doubt about that, if there was any.

    unpredictable, but I would say:

    1. Man Utd - having enough points to manage both CL and Premiership... they are boosted with confidence and champions luck... beware
    2. Chelsea - not #1 because they miss a complete squad to face any team any time...
    3. Bayern - #3 for being now on a positive turn of their form, and having to clear they image...
    4. PSV - relaxed in domestic league, no pressure at all of having to win it.
    5. Liverpool - too much pressure having to save the season
    6. Milan - crazy team this year...
    7. Valencia - injuries, suspensions, and failing to understand where to focus - if La Liga or CL
    8. Roma - not used to this stages and not very reliable team

A very good one, although I'd put Liverpool at #4 and PSV at #5. Benitez will focus on the CL.

    1. Chelsea - Because with Barcelona out of the competition, it's difficult to find another team that can beat them over two games.
    2. Man.Uted - They seem to be doing just enough at the moment, and always look like there's more to give.
    3. Milan - Not challenging in domestic league, and always a good team over two games, has a good mixture.
    4. Bayern - A wise man told me once, before Dortmond won the C/L,«Never bet against the Germans».
    5. Liverpool - Not very good, just extremely difficult to win over two legs against them.
    6. Roma - We say in Portuguese «or 8, or 80» This is Roma, you never know what you'll get.
    7. Valencia - Just can't see them being good enough.
    8. PSV - Punching well above their weight, on their way out, no matter who they draw.

Personally, I'd like to see a Man Utd - Milan final, but, I think this year we're in store for one of the more boring competitions between teams that are difficult to beat, rather than teams that play to win.

Chelsea have still not found any kind of form. The special one is now the lucky one. I don't think this unit of players will win the competition, but they certainly have the players capable.

Liverpools big advantage is Benitez. He is an excellent tactician and knows how to organise a team. Yet they do not have a team that I think are capable of winning it without a lot of luck...and surely that's been all used up by now?

Man Utd have had a fairytale season. Now they have Saha and Solskjaer injured and Larrson is gone. With Scholes also suspended in the league, I think they will be in a title race again very soon. Like Liverpool, they don't look to have the quality to go all the way, unless all their players keep performing.

Milan - I don't think they have what it takes anymore with this set of players. They have been very average this season. Kaka is, imo, their only quality player.

Roma - No one expects them to win it, which gives them a great chance.

PSV - did well to get this far and will be confident. Yet i can't see them doing it.

Valencia - A very solid team with some excellent players. I think they could make the final.

Bayern - Hitzfeld is slowly turning the team around. Confidence is growing and if we stay clear of injuries we have a good chance.

There is no way i would put a bet on who will win it with the teams that are left. It's wide open, and all it takes is 10 seconds in a game Laughing to change everything at this level.
