Ref is a ginger. Suprise suprise. never a pen.

@Owen - its all about the stats.

Seriously though, it wouldnt have been a goal had he not skinned his way into the box and had a crack

2nd grossly overrated 'keeper of the evening to save a penalty and then neglect the rebound.

    How clinical is Berbatov?!

    ha ha ha,

I suppose Leverkusen and Besiktas away wasnt hard. Not like the powerhouses that are ventspil and that other cack team in the last round who were formed ten years ago.

Or the home draws against the only decent teams you've played so far - Celta Vigo and Fener, neither of whom look like going through

Lets see how you get on away in Holland <Ale>

An easy group, a bye in the next round, and now a straight foward game against one of the smaller teams left.

You just read what you want to. Top class keepers would parry such shite penalties away from the penalty taker.

You just read what you want to. Decent keepers who parry such shite penalties away from the penalty taker.
If a shot has alot of pace then it will be parried further. If they are relatively weak shots like the ones we've seen tonight then it can't be parried very far. Simple really. <Ale>

Leverkusen looked poor against Blackburn, Blackburn looked the better team in both games and created alot.

Yeah, Newcastle have had it easy. Palermo, Fenerbahce, Celta Vigo, Frankfurt, and now AZ. Very easy. Doh

Leverkusen clearly dominated the first match against Blackburn, and didn't look poor at all. They played naive, and shouldn't have conceded the second goal.
