The rise of Reggina Empty The rise of Reggina

I know Empoli have done brilliantly this season but i also think Reggina deserve alot of credit. Mazzarri has worked wonders on a limited budget bringing out the best in the likes of Bianchi (whos is having a brilliant season), Amoruso and Mesto whilst the introductions of Vigiani and Foggia have inspired them on when the departures of Pelizzoli and Julio Cesar Leon could have unsettled the team.

If it wasnt for their Calciopoi points deduction then Reggina would currently stand 8th (i think their highest ever finsh is 10th), with impressive draws against Lazio, Fiorentina, Palermo and a win against Roma.

Reggina have done fucking superb, largely down to Bianchi's goals of course - someone who I honestly thought would struggle to break the ten goal mark.

losing elizolli between the sticks was a huge loss.

Even without the point deduction I would have kind of considered them relegation fodder. Its a marvel that they've managed what they have.

Yeah really great for Reggina. They are doing really well, and I hope that they will avoid the drop as they are just sitting above it.

Bianchi has been imense for Reggina this season and it's great to see them like this. They are one the teams I like to watch this season!
