Point just raised on John Barnes football night. Good point imo

I just wonder whether if we win the CL this year, and Jose has delivered the 2 main targets he set out for (Prem and CL) if he'll decide to leave on a high.

The more and more his reign goes on (and the more sh*t he gets from rival fans and media alike), the more I believe he may consider leaving us.

To be totally honest I think he may leave either way.

Obviously by his comments at the end of last season, he likes to have total control, something I don't think he gets at Chelsea.

If they win it the CL he may leave on a high, if they don't Roman and Kenyon may get arsey and that would give him a reason to leave.

i think he will go. once/if they do, he'll just be expected to repeat the same again. i can't see him really settling for just repeating the same achievements. he'll probably sample spain or international management

Yeah I think he'll be on his way if he manages it this season. There's nothing more he could do really.

On to Middlesbrough he will go for a real challenge.

Even though i despise the guy for his cokckyness and arrogance i'd love him at United. Now that would be a proper challange i.e. replacing SAF.

abramovich didn´t get where he was today without being ruthless, and he hasn´t invested all the money he has not to win the ECL, in the last 2 years despite their dominance of the EPL they have seen Liverpool win it and Arsenal get to the final, in seasons where these 2 clubs were way behind chelsea in the league finishing 5th and 4th (just) respectively. imho, I do not think roman will accept not winning it again.

I think it depends what jobs become available (as much as anything else) by the end of the year. I can see him leaving though, yes, I'm just not sure where he'd go. Inter, Bayern?

you would have to ask yourself why would he leave a place where he is getting paid a bomb and is able to spend a bomb.... the only reason would be for more of a challenge but jose doesn't strike me as the type of person that would go from such a superior position to an inferior position... then you factor in having to move his family again...

I think the only way he will leave is if he is pushed by roman and the fans

Maybe he will but I don't think that'll be a bad thing.

It'll allow you to get a more expressive manager that will let you play better and more attractive football - someone whose not content with 1-0s but wants to go for thrashings...

    Kevin Keegan maybe Wink

I really don't think he'd bother with Bayern.

Inter I could see - but it would have been more likely if they hadnt been awarded the scudetto last year. He would like the idea of being the manager winning the league for the first time in 15 years or whatever.

Maybe ManU, although I have a feeling the English media pisses him off big time, so he may not want to stay in the country for that long. On the other hand he probably doesnt want his kids to be moving around. It's possible.
