i think its a bit to early to call this guy overrated when most have not even seen him yet. he hasnt even gotten a chance to prove him self.

From what I've seen he'll never be international class, then again, toni didn't really develop fully as a class player until about 26 - so its possible...

Ah once Podolski managed 4-5 against San Marino that was it. According to the 'Otto Express', this proved that he was far and away the best striker in the world, followed by Klose.

Michael Owen doesn't play for England, he plays for the hospital football team. Crouch is a giraffe who does score often indeed, but the others don't. So add Crouch's goals to Rooney's, Defoe's, Nugent's whoever, and you have roughly the same number of goals Podolski has scored for us.
