just out of interest - why do you support colchester?
Or are you (kinda like me) just a neutral hoping that they go up (obviously only if Saints don't make it) purely for the novelty factor of having a club as small as Colchester in the premiership?

Wow. Revelations. Rob Kelly sacked as Leicester manager. Nigel Worthington and Doug Livermore (manager and assistant at Carrow road) have been appointed. And who is their first game in charge against on Saturday?! The glorious yellows.
I might go now.

It will be very tough for Colchester with Stoke, Sunderland and Palace still to play but even if they dont make the play offs they've been the team of the season throughout the whole of the country this year. Although im sure Scunthorpe fans might disagree.

Its a funny old game, yeah it would be typical that they beat you now. Although i would predict a draw.

I don't think Palace will be too much of a problem
Colchester - Stoke will be a great match for Saints because either way one of those sides will be dropping points.

The U's are still in with an outside chance of a play-off position although are penultimate game is against Sunderland.
It's at fortress Layer though.
I hope you don't make the playoffs and I hope you are relegated next season.

We always seem to fuck up your bets Goater! You should try not placing money on us. I've never won anything before this season betting on Norwich. It really aint worth it!
And yeh - they will beat us. Its the way football throws things back at you. I hope our fans give him a good reception. Sadly some of them only remember the bad times and not the good ones. For me the guy is a legend at the club even though he lost things at the end.

Colchester and Southend are such likable clubs yet have a huge rivalry. I can't see what there is to hate about either club! I wish them both well. . Southend to stay up and Colchester to make the play offs. I bet both of you would settle for that.

Yeah he did a good job and built a decent team, im sure that he will keep Leicester up and if given money by Mandric he could turn them into a top 10 team next season.
Yeah i dont think i will bet on you again i had
Charlton V Reading - Draw
Newcastle V Arsenal - Draw
Bolton V Everton - Draw
Norwich V WBA - Away win
Soooooooo close ! plus i was going to go for Forest Green V Stevenage to be a draw but changed it to your game....they ended up drawing
4-4.

Whats the financial situation at Col U like?
are you worried about "doing a Luton"?
i.e:
coming up, having a little flirt with the play-offs and finishing strongly in high mid-table in your first season whilst beating a couple of the relegated sides like Southampton and Crystal Palace (twice).
Then in your next season having to sell all your best players just to keep the club running and flopping to a rock bottom finish and going straight back down again?

Hopefully shit...but they are getting a new stadium soon I think...so I would guess at them being financially sound...

@Rasiak
Colchester is my hometown club and I am a U till I die. Our financial situation is dire although we are currently building a new 10,000 seater which isn't even in Colchester! Our star players are our two strikers they are quality Big Chris and small Jamie work a charm. Regarding promotion though teams are still getting used to us so we have the element of suprise. If we want to get promotion this is our best chance because we will probably struggle from second season syndrome next year but I can't fault us as we probably have the best team ethic in the league.
@ Deano
0-3! Jamie Jamie Jamie Cureton!
Shutup and go and go eat humble pie you cunt!
We are the pride of Essex

Yeh that is if he gets the job permanently. I suppose that Mandaric will be hoping for at least 6-9 points from the final five. They have....
Norwich (h)
Birmingham (h)
Preston (a)
Barnsley (a)
Wolves (h)
A close call.
Never seems to safe to bet on two teams drawing 4-4 though!
I don't suppose it is too safe to ask you for a tip for the National this Saturday then Goater?! I know nothing about racing yet have won money two times out of the last three years. Shame I never have that luck with the football.

What have you thought of this season Ballack? To put it bluntly I think you have been awful. Every time I have seen you play you have been crap or lucky. I really don't know how you have got so many points. Do think the "Bruce out" chants have been a tad out of order though. Top of the league and he still gets that? Remarkable.

Ive nto really studied the form or weight yet bu tfrom what ive heard Point Barrow looks good. Jose Edge did very well at Cheltenham but might be to tired for the national. Dun Doire looks good and a decent outsider is Bothar Na.

Yeah the national is a great bit of fun but just make sure you bet each way cos it can be a bit of a lottery.
