    just out of interest - why do you support colchester?

    Or are you (kinda like me) just a neutral hoping that they go up (obviously only if Saints don't make it) purely for the novelty factor of having a club as small as Colchester in the premiership?

    Wow. Revelations. Rob Kelly sacked as Leicester manager. Nigel Worthington and Doug Livermore (manager and assistant at Carrow road) have been appointed. And who is their first game in charge against on Saturday?! The glorious yellows.

    I might go now.

    It will be very tough for Colchester with Stoke, Sunderland and Palace still to play but even if they dont make the play offs they've been the team of the season throughout the whole of the country this year. Although im sure Scunthorpe fans might disagree.

    I don't think Palace will be too much of a problem

    Colchester - Stoke will be a great match for Saints because either way one of those sides will be dropping points.

    Whats the financial situation at Col U like?

    are you worried about "doing a Luton"?

    i.e:
    coming up, having a little flirt with the play-offs and finishing strongly in high mid-table in your first season whilst beating a couple of the relegated sides like Southampton and Crystal Palace (twice).

    Then in your next season having to sell all your best players just to keep the club running and flopping to a rock bottom finish and going straight back down again?

    Hopefully shit...but they are getting a new stadium soon I think...so I would guess at them being financially sound...

    @Rasiak

    Colchester is my hometown club and I am a U till I die. Our financial situation is dire although we are currently building a new 10,000 seater which isn't even in Colchester! Our star players are our two strikers they are quality Big Chris and small Jamie work a charm. Regarding promotion though teams are still getting used to us so we have the element of suprise. If we want to get promotion this is our best chance because we will probably struggle from second season syndrome next year but I can't fault us as we probably have the best team ethic in the league.

    What have you thought of this season Ballack? To put it bluntly I think you have been awful. Every time I have seen you play you have been crap or lucky. I really don't know how you have got so many points. Do think the "Bruce out" chants have been a tad out of order though. Top of the league and he still gets that? Remarkable.

    Ive nto really studied the form or weight yet bu tfrom what ive heard Point Barrow looks good. Jose Edge did very well at Cheltenham but might be to tired for the national. Dun Doire looks good and a decent outsider is Bothar Na.

    I think i will go for Dun Doire, Point Barrow and Bothar Na !
