The perfect solution for me would be

1 CB, 1 LB, 1 RB, 1 DM and 1 striker.. so I would be extremely pleased with: Abidal, Andrade, Alves, Albelda/De Rossi and Klose.. I would be a major renovation but honestly I think we will see 4 at the most joining (and not De Rossi or Alves)

Lol Luis, Lampard is the one prostituting himself to us. Everyday he comes out with hints to the media. Why do you think his contract talks have stalled...he has even reminded everyone that the last year of his contract can be bought out.

Where is Andrade likely to end up next season? Barca can't be the only club linked to him.

I don't think he'll move now - he's 28/29. Real have just bought Metzelder, Valencia have Alexis and Barcelona have Edmilson, Marquez, Puyol and Thuram.

lampard wants to go to barca and is almost out of contract, valencia are holding on to villa to save their lives and are slapping huge price tags on him

Actually, I'm almost certain Andrade will move this summer. Depor are in deep trouble, as some of us were posting last week. I would like to sign him, because the price won't be much - 10-12 million at most. Madrid are also linked with him, but no one else.

I'm not a Barca fan. I don't think Lampard will go either and until you provide some evidence that Villa wants to go to you I will continue to laugh at the suggestion, especially at the derisory amount you think you will get him for. By the way Villa plays for Valencia not Barca.

How much do you think Barca will offer for him? Bear in mind Valencia won't want to sell him to you as we won't want to strengthen our rivals.

Before we can even make an offer I think it's highly doubtful Albelda will leave. He likes Valencia so I think the contract dispute is just one of those things that takes time and has disagreements along the way.

But if he does agree to a move, then Valencia will be forced to sell because I think his contract expires next year, doesn't it? Considering he's over 28, the max. we will have to pay under that new FIFA regulation would be the cost of the last year of his contract.

I hope we don't sell him. He is an important player for us. Hopefully, Carboni doesn't penny-pinch his way into a repetition of the ridiculous Ayala situation, especially as we would practically be giving him away under that regulation. His experience and commitment are necessary to bring the young players on. We still need him. Still if wee havre to sell for cost of last year of contract better to let im walk on a Bosman next year if we can't sort out a contract extension.

Why the smile after "He likes Valencia". Am I wrong, or are you just appreciating it?
