Late 80s for me, any neutral who started following football at that time was a Serie A fan....

I have been to so many pubs in london supporting an italian team over an english one... it can be tiresome

My grandfather will be, he's been a season ticket holder for nearly forty years! I doubt if i can go, they will not release as much tickets and i don't think i make the grade for away matches, home matches is fine, but away matches, no, plus i've only been to three european games this season.

Yes, i thought it was unecessary, but Gattuso does tend to go off 'in his own world', he needs to put some perspective at moments like that, the game is won and we have complete control, no unecessary cards.

Both games were incredible emotions.

But i have to say before the second leg of each tie i was more worried about FC Bayern than Manchester.

Going into the second leg with Bayern we had conceeded two away goals, and were not in form and didn't look stable in defence or attack and we had to go to the Allianz against a fantastic crowd and play a massive match against a top team.

Going into the second leg with Manchester we had two away goals, were in form, and we had the tie at San Siro with our amazing fans and knew that if we played an intelligent match and controlled the tempo and not let Manchester use their pace in the wide areas that we could win.
