Iniesta used to be the worst finisher in the game. He certainly improved on that this year, amongst other things.

Don't confuse us with Madrid. We thoroughly dominated the match, just couldn't score. Sociedad are piss poor, if they had gotten anything from this game it would be thanks to our impotency.

Noboday has the vision and range of passing of ronaldinho. That pass to iniesta was class and he's produced that 3 or 4 times in this match. He's had an averge season and is still not playing well, but he remains the best player in the world.

Victor Lopez just punched Ronaldinho? He's bleeding from the nose...

Edit: wasn't a punch, but he basically clotheslined him as Ronaldinho was running past.

there were hardly any clear cut chances (from what i saw) and it was expected to have possession but failed to make much of it. a 1-0 victory over sociedad would be unconvincing

the 3 points here are 100% necessary. if we don't win today, we won't win the league.

was it a foul on messi? barca should have scored there.

Messi's ball retention has been phenomenal today. He always has 2 or 3 defenders on him but always gets through.

yeah he has been very good in the 2nd half. was invisible in the 1st because not many balls were played to him and was constantly surrounded by 2 or 3 players.

Etoo scores but offside again.

Messi and Ronaldinho are looking irresistible. Haven't seen such interplay in a long time, esp. with so many defenders always around them. Fantastic, let's get Saviola on and capitalise with a goal.

To be fair neither can I.

He can't misunderstand his teammates, overhit or underhit passes, mess up shots, score only from chances meant for other teammates, dribble like a donkey, act like he's the bees knees, and so on.

at this stage I'd sign for 6 unconvincing 1-0 victories, all own goals if you wish...
