    This weekend

    Man United Vs West Ham

    Sheffield United Vs Wigan

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The defining game of the season for the Hammers, Sheffield United and Wigan, will United rest players for the Fa cup final? that would make it much easier for West Ham, if they win they're safe, simple as that, but we all saw what happened to Norwhich 2 seasons back when they had it in their own hands.

Will home advantage prove vital for Sheffield United against Wigan?

Discuss how you see the games going

I've just posted an article in our team thread.

Fergie is resting players tomorrow but playing a near full strength side on Sunday.

I think what everyone's hoping for is a win/draw for the hammers.

I honestly don't care about the other two, ideally Chartlon would be still up and they'd both go down Sad

For the competitveness of the EPL its best they stay up.

they also play the most attractive football. Wigan and Sheffield Utd both play pretty dire football

Wigan went though a period of playing good football eralier in the season. I really don't get this pining for West Ham to stay up, when we were in the bottom three the general consensus was "f@ck em".

Well yes, because you moan pretty much constantly and kind of invite it on yourself

I wouldn't have been one of the ones saying 'f@ck em' anyway - people that have that opinion are generally idiots. For the ePL its best that the strongest teams stay up

How are West Ham one of the EPL's strongest teams if they're down at the bottom of the table? IF they go down then the likes of Tevez won't go with them, i just don't see what we'll be missing.

They weren't one of the strongest teams, until Curbs got them settled and the new January signings started to get settled.

They've got 6 wins in 7 or something stupid - the squad NOW is very competitive.

This means nothing in the long term, at the start of the year we showed top 5/6 form(between games 13-16 i think) but look at us now.

Yes, except that West Ham bought about 5 players in the January transfer window + they have the financial capacity to but a load more players in the summer and make a serious challenge for a UEFA spot.

Sheffield Utd and Wigan do not have this capability

Tweeds, just ignore Kimbo. We are a London side, therefore no matter what we do, he'll slag us off.

He fails to recognise the fact that the current team we have has won 6/8 games Doh He goes on about earlier in the season when the manager and team was different.

He can hope we go down all he wants. It's not like any of our players will join his team like he thinks anyway.

I'm not slagging you off, i just don't see the need for the West Ham suckathon that seems to be developing on the board.

You're going through a run of good form, just like most teams have had at some point in the season.

I don't think any of your players will join us and i don't want any of them to join us.

The West Ham "suckathon" is simply because people would rather we stayed in the Premiership. You would rather Wigan and Sheff Utd because we are a London Club and probably because it's possible we are a threat to you for UEFA qualifcation next season.

Doesn't bother me who you want to go down to be honest, I just don't see how you fail to recognise the reasoning of other people.

    A few points.

    1) You need to get over this "London club" business

    2) It makes little difference to me who goes down, why would it?

    3) There's going to be many changes over the summer to both clubs so i see little reason to consider West Ham more of a "threat" than Wigan or Sheffield.

    4) I don't "fail" to recognize the reasoning of other people, i'm questioning it.

Tell me, why would it make a difference to me whether it's West Ham or Wigan that go down? And this time refrain from bringing up the paranoid "london club" bollocks, because that is irrelevant to this subject. ok

You can question people, I'm not arguing that. I explained their reasons. You obviously don't like us for some reason. If you seriously think the Premiership is better with Sheffield United and Wigan than us, then that's down to you....however the majority will disagree ok
