I like Warnock. Better to have a manager with character than one without. They make the game interesting.

I used to like him...but he can be too malicious in his comments, same with Mourinho.

Thing is, I'd rather have a loud mouthed, arrogant bastard like Mourinho than some boring wobbly Spanish twat like Benitez. At least Mourinho's funny.

I agree...but sometimes there is no need for certain comments, such as the digs at Ronaldo about his background.

Nah I liked Warnock, true he talked bollocks at times but he was down to earth. I liked his team too, I reckon with some money he could build a decent team.

I wonder if he'll be taking Liverpool to court as well for playing their second team against Fulham. Those 3 points saved Fulham.

Re: The Farewell Warnock thread
Well, that whole second team $h!t annoyed me- it's up to the manager of said team which players they use. At the end of the day they will rest players when they face weaker opposition if they have a tough game coming up.
Rosy I think I used to see you in the 606 forum, but never here before??? You were a good part of that forum if it was the same Rosy...

Wasn't there a time when you had to play your best available team? I'm sure someone told me that. It's taking the piss to make 9 changes imho. I suppose Sheffield United have paid for the failure of the chasing pack to keep the CL places open longer. Blame Everton, Bolton and Tottenham.
I was on here a few months ago (and for ages on 606 before it became a waste of time) but my computer died on me at Christmas.

Re: The Farewell Warnock thread
Warnock is a passionete guy, who has abundance of charactor, albeit at times alittle bit bitchy. However as a manager, I wouldn't mind seeing HIM back in the Prem.
Nonetheless, Sheff United as a team will not improve the quality of the EPL and the football that they had produced has been quite dire and boring. So for that reason alone, it's probably better they did go down....
