UEFA CUP final - who do you support?
tonight's the night that only comes around once every 20 years or so for Sevilla and Espanyol. Who do you want to win and why?

I was at the airport last night and hordes of Espanyol fans were on their way to Glasgow.
Funnily enough, I heard Sevilla weren't even able to sell all their tickets allotted to them. Have their supporters grown tired of their success that quickly? Or are they merely convinced they'd get slaughtered like last year's Copa finalists Zaragoza, who were also the towering favourites against Espanyol.

European matches between clubs from the same country aren't interesting : who cares who wins.

I prefer Espanyol. Sevilla won last year so it would be nice to see a different team. Although, if Espanyol had beaten us Saturday I would be supporting Sevilla.

Espanyol.
1) Because Sevilla are just pure, horrid actors, especially Alves & Adriano.
2) Walter Pandiani - Loved him when he was at Super Depor.

I was supporting Espanyol.
It was great to see 14 Spanish players start. Take note England.

How could you not mention Luis Fabiano? He is ridiculous, really dirty as well, practically every time he jumps he tries to elbow someone.

Are you genuinely lecturing England? Or just Arsenal?.Kaká wrote:I was supporting Espanyol.

Man Utd Starting XI- Neville, Ferdinand, Carrick, Scholes, Rooney.
Chelsea Starting XI- Terry, Ash Bash, Lampard, J Cole
These teams have more English players than the Italian ones. Nice to see so many Italians get into that Inter Milan squad eh?
Also remember, that neither of these teams are particularly "big" clubs who have won titles and are challenging for the title (bar Sevilla this season). So we could just take Reading as an example, who have 8 English Players Starting, or how about Blackburn, who have 7.

Against Benfica (or was it Werder?), Espanyol were playing with 10 spaniards (quite a few from the academy) and just one foreigner (Kameni).

Ballack, I think kaka was pointing out the need for English teams to field more Spanish players, since this seems to increase success rate, as was clearly seen yesterday. Liverpool have also profited from this in recent times.
