I did say in the summer Villarreal would finish above Atleti.

at the end of the day as much as i detest madrid and would be quite happy if you didn't win the league what happens tous is far more important i will be v disappointed if we do not make europe it was a minimum requirement at the start of the season. some players have disappointed hugely.

Maniche v average, Costinha should have been able to displace luccin. Aguero not surprisingly has been as good in his first season as all the hype but more to come i'm sure. torres has been woeful again. we have missed maxi and petrov. Jurado has shown in flashes he has class but gets caught in possession too often. Seitaradis has disappointed and just when valera seemed destined to make the step up he gets a horror injury too. Pernia always a strange signing given his age has not flourished. Ze Castro despite yesterday has been our buy of the summer, we needed more experience alongside him yesterday. Mista complete joke of a player, i was optimistic that he may show signs of the Mista of the championship valencia side but he has looked segunda b standard.

Aguirre should he stay or go, i think he need continuity but there must be signs of a response to this result in the next few games. Otherwise if we fail to make europe again he will pay the price i think

I heard the only player that played well for AM was El Red Nino - obviously tying to impress SAF!

there´s letting a team win and there is an annihilation. and the no. of goals will matter not so we could have lost 2-0 or tried and got a goal back, lets just hope we have a similar reaction to barca after a v poor result so that we still secure uefa cup footy next season

Frank, I saw the goals yesterday and if I was the manager I would get rid of that defence and shoot the goalkeeper. I think every goal apart from Ronaldinhos was due to diabolical defending.

I felt sorry for Torres when the camera panned to his face when the 6th goal went in, he looked devastated, reminded me of Totti's face Roma lost 7-1.

Ps it seems Quaresma has been linked with everyone. He really, does has a good agent.
