seedorf's pretty much guaranteed starting spot in his favoured position of attacking midfield as milan's best player this year

Dutchies.. Yay! Erm.. Hopefully Seedorf is one the winning side tonight.

Thank Tom, I didn't really want to put a jinx on Ruud ok

    Imagine Van Basten's face :

    * Makaay second on the topscorerslist in Germany

    * Van Bommel : undisputed boss and engine of Bayern

    * Seedorf to score the winner in the CL final

    * Ruud to win the Spanish title and become topscorer

....and none of them are good enough for Oranje ?! Doh

nope, this year seedorf has been the best player over the course of the season, kaka has only been better in the 8 or so CL games

also a lot of seedorf's inconsistency in previosu seasons is due to him usually playing a more defensive role on the left of midfield when he is actually an attacking midfielder. This season they've had to play kaka further forward and amborsini in a defensive role allowin seedorf to play like he has. Apparently looking like a strong black guy means that you are a defensive midfielder. You should understand that having bought gravesen, apprently having a shaved head means you're a defensive midfielder as well Wink

CL wise yes, Seedorf and Kaka have been Milans only hope in going forward.

There is a possibilty of an earthquake and a dormant volcano erupting under the pitch - killing both teams and thus disqualifying the game!

Seedorf has a nice touch and vision and great passing, his tackling is good but nothing exceptional (ever seen him do a slide tackle?), he plays like guti or someone like that, just is bigger and stronger. He has played defensively at milan for a couple of years to make up for the frailties of pirlo, who needs a lot of protection. I also heard it was one of the reasons seedorf left real, because they wanted him to play the makalele role.

It was difficult to fit all the players into one midfield at the time.

I say this from actually watching in the san siro not a highlight reel featuring kaka. What's funny is that he has been good the whole season (even when milan were poor), but only the last couple of months that he has been recognised for it.
