Personally i think it´ll be a huge mistake he is a proven failure as a manager imho. Would have been better going for Coleman despite what the idiot chairman saiys

If he is given a fair bit of cash and has brian kidd as assistant then he will do well. He has done well before in this league but i do think he needs some financial support.

I think it is a poor decision personally. Robson has always underachieved with good squads and plays dour, unadventurous football. Coleman would have been a better option, but I can't help but feel that his football is too 'soft' for the Sheffield United chairman. He seems to be one of those people that believes football should involve a solid, hardworking team and hoofing the ball to the big man up front. Can't see Sheffield United progressing under Robson at all.

Robson is a championship quality manager, so he should do ok next season. Can't see him getting Utd promoted though
