Worst Free Kick Takers

Obviously not the worst free kick takers in the world but who regularly takes them without any end result?
For me, Baptista manages to take our sometime and he's only ever scored against Dudek and all his other efforts go nowhere near...
Aside from that, Ronaldo's seem hit the wall nearly every time.

Emre, unbelievably bad. He takes all our free kicks and he's only scored 1 in the past 2 years. Every single on seems to smack the first man right on the forehead. Hopefully Mike Ashley will get rid.

Lampard, in terms of style and ugliness he is up there with the worst. honorable mention to Cesc (for set pieces) so slow and obvious if we score its definitely the fault of the defence.

Toure

We seen to have a lot of bad free kick takers actually!

From short range - Lampard and Ronaldo.

Both are useful from long range though.

me neither, it pisses me off sometimes.

I also don't know why Rosicky doesn't take them in the absence of Henry and RVP.

His corners are far better than Fabregas's corners.

Steven Gerrard. How he's maintained priority over Xabi Alonso in regards to set-pieces beyond me.

He is great for crossing free kicks, terrible at curling shots, good for power, terrible at corners

Ronaldo's a decent free-kick taker actually, its just that he seems to either score or miss spectacularly, rather than having any near misses or working the keeper.

Lampard just has an obscene amount of luck with deflections and free kicks that are really crosses that go straight through the crowd of players and wind up in the back of the net, Drogba should take all of Chelsea's free-kicks

yes the daddy of spacking up freekicks. has eaten-out on that one amazing freekick for nearly 10 years now.

I maintain that from long range he's useful because even if he doesn't score he can cause a scramble, which leads to goals against Spurs and Liverpool.

Just close in that he's useless because he hardly ever gets it over the wall. Should let Giggs take them from there.

Sneijder is okay for Ajax at set pieces, whenever he takes them for Holland however, he does it worse than my grandmother would
