Inzaghi deserved the two goals last night along with the MOTM award.

OK the first goal was a total fluke, but Inzaghi ran himself into the ground last night and made an absolute pest of himself to the Liverpool defence from the word go, worked very hard and took his second chance very very well.

The second goal was very well taken, the first goal was pure fluke though. IMO Nesta or Masch deserved it more

You can't criticise him for scoring the first one, obviously he deserves no praise for it but a lot of people are actually swinging the pendulum too far the other way.

over 10,000 metres he ran, closed defenders down, buying corners off defenders, a few good touches as well, and of course the second goal was superb.

Having said that, Liverpool need to defend against that much better, you can't let one pass beat the entire back four

I thought Masch. Kaka was on form, it was just several great tackled by Masch that stopped him. A billion times better than Gattuso. His tackle on kaka after kaka had spun away was one of the ebst i'd seen.

Look, actually he can't play football at all. He's just always in the right position

Did you see him get nutmegged from 20 yards by Kaka Laugh

Mascha was the MOTM, he was just awesome, completely took care of Kaka. When he was on the pitch Milan didnt create one opportunity, cant believe he couldnt get a game at west ham.

I dont understand why everyone is raving so much about Nesta, if Gerrard had a left foot, he wouldnt have had such plaudits.

A big reason my choice was Nesta was the first 30 mins - when Liverpool were attacking non-stop, a lot of times it was his header or tackle that saved Milan, esp. after their fullbacks had messed up. And his immaculate performance continued throughout the match.

I wonder what was going through the two Alans' minds when they were watching Mascherano put another virtuoso show to the whole world. There was Mascherano before West Ham, then he disappeared when he ended up in West Ham, and he reappeared at Liverpool without missing a beat.

f@ck! I wouldn't like to be any of the two Alans who coached him at West Ham. Embarassed

The first goal looked like it was a handball.

That's why players like Kaka, Totti, Ronaldinho, Messi, C. Ronaldo, etc. are the players they are - they do things that you just cannot defend. But you're partially right, Carragher made a slight mistake in stepping up for the offside trap and allowed Kaka to make the pass.
