Well done Nurnberg! From what I can gather they just about deserved the win today.
Sounds like a good game, and a fair bit more exciting than our cup final here in England.
Bad luck Stuttgart, a brave effort to play so long with ten men, and unlucky on missing out on the double.
Still, I'm sure most Stuttgart fans would have settled for winning the league and coming runners-up in the cup at the start of the season, so congratulations on a great season.
Sounds like a good game, and a fair bit more exciting than our cup final here in England.

I'm not gutted... No... Just a tad disappointed that it ended like this--the game, I mean.
Not the season.
Because we exceeded our own expectations by winning the championship, because we finally have a real and true team again, not just a bunch of men who happen to be paid by the same employer, a team that was fun to watch during the season, that didn't give up until the end...
90 minutes with one man down--and we still attacked and we still had the energy left. That must count for something.
So yeah. Congrats to Nuremberg--you managed to trash us twice and beat us again last night. Well done!
And on a side note: Goodbye, Timo! I'll miss your nasal twang just as well as the always immaculate hair. Take care wherever you go and who knows, we might get to see you back in Stuttgart alongside Andi, Kevin and Philipp before you all end your careers. (That's the hopeless romantic in me...
)

A very good Cup final imo, shame about Meira though. Congratulations to Nuremberg and especially Hans Meyer, but also well done to Stuttgart for a great fight.
All in all it was a great Bundesliga season.
