I just hope Ten Cate doesn't f@ck up Afonso (if he joins the jews) and make him track back etc.

    Not you too DD ?!

I have kind of accepted that the idiots on these boards will refer to Ajax as the Jews, but if sensible people follow....then a line has been crossed.

Will everyone please stop referring to Ajax as Jews ?

are there any rumours of Bojan joining you guys? Opinions seem to be divided here, since Guddy is staying.

We only heard Cruyff saying that Bojan joining Ajax would be the best for everyone.

Well Axe, sometimes ists more convenient (as in shorter) than to say Ajaccieden. Anyway, they call themselves Joden, 020 (!!), Godenzonen etc.
What would the world be if I can't mock that?

Besides, I didn't forget that sly dig of yours at NEC's shirt. Wink

There is no exodus , i repeat 'no exodus'

Perez hardly started games in the 2nd half of the season , De Mul 'dark side' was revealed and Babel going is good business , its not the END OF THE WORLD Doh

plus certain new players wanting to prove themselves , as long as the structure is there .. faith + promise can work.

Didn't Babel say the same ?

De Mul, Perez & Sneijder won't be missed by Ajax.

Ten Cate needs to make some decent lineups though, he's got it wrong quite often last year.

Huntelaar will be foolish to leave , its best he plays a season in UCL (maybe UEFA Cup again) with Ajax

the problem is Ten Cate wants to play 4-3-3 , yes i do .. if you have the players by any means do it.

take a leaf out of Foppe de Haan , I rather Ajax play 4-4-2 ..

Ajax have said if they lose Sneijder , Luka Modric would be a potential replacement - have no problem.

Huntelaar has been named vice-captain at Ajax cheers cheers

Don't think Modric will be available for less than 15M euri. By the way don't be surprised if he ends up at Arsenal.

I was looking at the bookies the other day and they have the title odds at

    Ajax 6/4
    PSV 6/4
    AZ 9/2
    Feyenoord 7/1

I wondered if they would have Feyenoord at a high price after last year and over look their signings.

The question is can Feyenoord really win it next season after all their summer signings ?

I mentioned this on the Arsenal thread about a week ago. There were very strong rumours that he was going to sign along with Eduardo but for a couple of reasons the deal was put off. There is still speculation that he could join us in January. It seems to be fairly reliable stuff as well, including quotes from one of the top figures at Zagreb.

Loved his brilliant game when he played for Feyenoord & as a kid I always was De Kromme when playing footy. He was not only a great player (great vision, skill, good at about anything, great header), but has always a very nice person, always time for the fans.

Once went with a mate cycling to Van Hanegem's house (he lived just south of Rotterdam in shithole called Hendrik Ido Ambacht, like alot of Feyenoord players, Barendrecht was/became also very popular.). After ringing the bell, we were invited in (by Truus) to have a drink (imagine trying that nowadays). Willem joined in later (and gave us some footy stuff, like postcards with autograph, etc). Very kind people.
