I think we can get a result against Vitesse. Their squad is better than ours but with our great support we will at least put on a great fight.

    Vitesse..uugh what a sh!tty club.

    Surprise club? Champions?

    What's your view.

I'm happy with Sparta and I also think that the Eredivisie has become stronger in general. I think it might be a good year in Europe.

Well with the loss of Samaras, Sektoui, Kalou, Landzaat, (Lodewijks), and possibly Kuijt over the last year, I do think that the overall level is improving.

There were seasons were I just couldn't bear to watch teams that couldn't string four consequetive passes together without fucking it all up, but now the optimism is growing. We also have talented youngsters like Affalay, Aissati, Leonardo, Hofs among others coming up. And the teams appear to becoome less and less naieve - both in the eredivisie and in europe - which can only be a good thing.

As for suprises I think Groningen can pull an upset fourth place (or higher), if they stay undefeated at home, and are able to "win" the season against the lesser teams (sorry Sparta Wink ). I think their team chemistry is something to be envious about.

I honestly can't see PSV do as well under R.Koeman as under Hiddink. I'm not saying they can't win the league, but even if they do, it will with lesser results. And Ajax is reborn and very strong this year. Besides R. Koeman has the knack to fuck evrything up once he lays his shit-covered hands on it.

NEC should finish 4-7 anything lesser is underachieving... yet again.

Kalou didn't perform last year so he wont be missed
Samaras was most of the times a bench warmer
Sektioui was most of the times injured
Lodewijks is replaced by Timmer so on that feyenoord improved
Landzaat had a terrible year so last year so he won't be missed on that form

Kuyt would only weaken the Eredivisie if you compare it with lasdt season.

AZ, PSV and Ajax all improved in comparisson with last year and also Groningen and Heerenveen made some good signings...

The Eredivisie increased on quality in the top. In the middle zone and relegation zone I am not so sure about!

AZ/Feyenoord to fight for the 3rd spot...

I don't know what to think of Den Haag, What will happen with our captain Delorge? How will Mols and/or Vreven play? Are the young talents (Verhoek, Elia) going to improve???? lots of uncertainties...

No need for that Fez, I've vowed never to go to a match involving Feyenoord again...

Funnily I think we'd settle for a draw too.

I don't think we're ready yet and we need to get momentum going in the Green Hell ((C) Louis van Gaal) again, if we'd lose to Feyenoord we'll finnish somewhere around 10th place.

With a draw it's all still wide open.

With a win, we'd be of to a flying start and be starting to "spook" again in Groningen Bubbly

....on a whole : we're being hyped too much....and I don't think we'll be able to match expectations.

(but I do pray "everyone" is right => 5th/4th place for us and above the damned Friesians ( Sheep ) !)

It's between PSV and AZ depending on how fast Van Gaal can build his team and how much damage R. Koeman will do to the excellent PSV squad.

Feyenoord will be a steady contender but slip up a few times : 3rd.

Ajax will have a bad start....revert to 4-4-2 and have an excellent 2nd half : 4th.

Heerenveen will do well, I hope Groningen too...and I expect a lot from Aad de Mos, so expect the return of Vitesse.

There's already/again trouble at NAC ?! What the $%#!! is going on there ?

If they don't get their act together they might be relegated this year...(while they have the squad for a top 7 finnish)

I still dont get why ajax is top favourite again this year Question . It looks like they didnt solved the problems they have with the wingers, and i honestly think Perez will fail at ajax. And Stam is half of the time injured

Psv looks like last year, but have in Koeman a non-capable man ( he wanted to buy Charisteas again Shocked )

Az will be a big question mark, all the experts agree on one thing and that is they have a huge source of talented players. But will our dear friend Louis be capeble to make a team of it that can match with the quality of the az teams of last years?

Feyenoord will be the darkhorse this year according to the pundits. But with an improved midfield and Kuyt staying, i will see them go all the way. Biggrin
Feyenoord's main problem will be the away-matches against the "smaller" teams, if they start win those its gonna be busy at the Coolsingel in May... <Ale>

Btw: this year 3 teams from Rotterdam, wish them all well and look forward to the derbies

    @ Kevin

I think Dembele will be great prospect for the future, but will likely be a sub most of the time. Huysegems... i still dont know how to rate him, he can be quite good for one game and be really poor in the next one. De Ceulaer is the Belgium player you should watch <Ale>

De Ceulaer will likely be used as sub for Castelen, but as we all know he is injured 24/7 so he will play alot. De Ceulaer was on loan at RKC last year. I think this generation of Belgium players will be very promising. Its only a shame the play mostly in Holland for you. I watched Sporza the other night and you could really use those talents. But i guess its all a money issue why they come here
