    @ Since 1888

    I've got to buy an unknown (to me) Sparta player for my FF team, who'll have the most chance of playing ?

    At this moment I've got only 500,000 left to spend....if you tell me I've got to make an extra effort to chose one of the 750,000 players I'll consider it....

    Strikers :

    J. John (500,000)
    M. Zaalman (500,000)

    Midfielders :

    N. Rutjes (500,000)
    E. Bueren (750,000)
    S. Kaita (750,000)
    I. Moreno Freire (750,000)

    @ DD the same question for some NEC players :

    Strikers :

    S. Ntibazonk (500,000)
    J. Lens (750,000)
    R. Worm (750,000)

    Midfielders :

    B. Brakel (500,000)
    D. Scholten (500,000)
    L. Davids (750,000)
    K. Fachtali (500,000)

    (I'm thinking Lens might become a first team regular.....what do you think DD ?)

    ....and for NAC and Excelsior I got the same problem Sad

    Coach van het Jaar by Dagblad van het Noorden is simply *too* difficult this year....

    Can't see Lens getting ahead of Worm.
    Worm would be my choice - if pushed. I wouldn't choose a NEC midfielder for the FF to be honest.

    E. van Bueren is a sure starter. He won't get you too many points though.

    J.John is the surprise of the pre-season and impressed far better than the ego Bouaouzan. It does depends if we play 442 or 433 which is unknown yet.

    If we buy Kronh Dehli, which is likely, I think we will go for 442 with Roberts and Emnes as strikers.

    I had indeed picked John before I posted on here, but was curious if he would actually play....preseason scoring doesn't mean that much is my experience (but if you've got nothing else to go by...).

    I've got the same problem for FC Groningen : Ozturk & Nijland are doing awesome in our preseason....but I doubt either will get much playing time when we start playing "om het eggie".

    So far I'm betting on Ozturk because Suarez will probably become an honorary mercenary at the Scum and leave a void to be filled in Stad.

    How much is deRoover? He was our best player last year.

    Or maybe you can get a surprise package in Jaggy, Adeleye or Roberts.

    Roberts = 1,000,000

    Adelaye = 750,000
    Jaggy = 1,000,000
    De Roover = 1,000,000

    I'm sorry but a defender from Sparta doesn't fit in my plans : they hardly ever keep a blank sheet and don't score much either.

    Polak maybe because he takes penalties but he's getting too old and might not be a sure starter...and at 1,000,000 still isn't good value for money...

    I understand your decision for not playing a Sparta defender. Adeleye is an unit though and he should surprise a few people next season. (He does take a lot of cards so I wouldn't take him either).

    How much is Emnes or Rose? Rose might be playing as a striker this season.

    And how much is Kai Michalke (Heracles). If he is cheaper than Takak for example I would take him.

    I think it'll be the last year of De Roover at Sparta, he's too good for you guys....that doesn't score any points though Wink

    Since 1888 wrote:

    Both cost 1,000,000.

    If I were to spend that on a striker, I'd rather have Vitesse's Benson.

    Michalke = 750,000

    that's as much as Takak.

    Michalke hasn't set the world on fire and he only played 8 matches in the last 2 years....while Takak is a personal favourite of mine, I would have loved it if he would have come to us. If de Mos can use him to his potential he'll be awesome for Vitesse...

    I also expect more from Vitesse than from Heracles (wins will be the main part of their points).

    Ohwell, deRoover has a contract untill 2010 or something so he can leave for big money. In all seriousness, I am guessing he will go to Heerenveen next season since I am told we have a cooperation deal. All bullshit ofcourse, or else they would be so friendly to give us Friend.

    You sure? I am feeling the exact opposite. Vitesse didn't do that much on the transfer market while we brought in pure quality in especially Boukhari and Slot.
    Than we have Jaggy, the Swiss start from Grasshoppers. We have added some squad members like Promes, Dissels and Varkevisser. Than we have Adeleye and Roberts who already showed great signs of talent and had some time to get used to the Netherlands by now. I see this season very brightly.

    And this season, finally, my hype of Emnes will get proved right.

    Ofcourse I am biased but I am not afraid of Vitesse at all. Infact, I think our squad is about the same in quality. I know you don't rate Boukhari but this man is a pure quality injection for us.

    If we get Krohn Dehli and a strong striker and a winger we have a delicious squad.
