Did anyone see his press-conference today ?
    Nope, what was said?

Just read that he said , he has not heard the rumours that Ajax are interested in him succeeding HTC after this season. He said : "Oh, dat is nieuw voor mij" and he wants the KNVB to extend his contract ... Rolling Eyes
Hell no! Even if that means I'd have to get my sniper rifle out of the shed.

Marco's contract with the Dutch FA has a clause stating he'll have to resign if we don't qualify for 2008. I read van Basten does not want to extend his deal until we've qualified. Will not be as easy as some people think. Personally I don't care that much about Euro 2008, we already won the EC. I want the WC, so I hope we wil not qualify.

    @ JDG

van Basten in his latest press-conference did reiterate that clause , he wants to qualify for Euro 2008 and then start talking with the KNVB , personally i want him to think about a potential approach from Ajax .. I'm not sure if van Basten will go from the back door or the front door when he does leave the national team post.

well I can't see us go anywhere near winning the EC with the 'defences' Marco comes up with. Imo anything less than EC SF should be a new manager.

Heerenveen looks very poor at the moment without Alves.

Its good you notice I'm not confident , its hard to be these days .. but knowing that HTC wont be at the club next season , its best to try and give him a goodbye present for his CV.

Any manager with sense would never play Colin at RB , sadly HTC has no sense .. if he starts tomorrow and not van der Weil , i may never be the same again.

2 howlers, first goal he run out his goal like a mad man where he never could have reached it.

2nd was kinda like the Makaay goal of today, but even more ugly.

We played decentish. Adeleye was great again, sure, he still got some flaws in his play but I honestly believe he can become WC in the future. Kaita also made a decent sub appereance.

Let's be honest, we didn't deserve our penalty so a draw is a fair result. But we could have won if it wasn't for Varkevisser.
