ballack knows how to control a midfield and is goalscoring too, he is a better passer and had more football brain

Behind the striker is you prefer attacking (thats what i would prefer); in front of the defense if you want to play defensive.

It would be behind, as Joey Cole plays on the left.

Its Cr@pDeisler wrote:this midfield is not superior to other midfields, of course they are defenitly in the top5 midfields
the midfield from barca is better in my opinion, when they inform
j.cole and robben not that special players, of course they are good, but not the best in the world
ac milan with pirlo, kaka, gattuso, the hell they are better
the new bayern midfield is not far away from all that midfields

Lampard: 62 games, 21 goals.
Ballack: 46 games, 8 goals.

yeah great stats for flumps, but had he ever a good game in big matches, this guy is not a big game player, because he is to limited against big teams, because there is no space

I agree with the rest of what you said. I'm just pointing out that Ballack will not get half the number of goals that Lampard gets.
If we drop him, we must find 20 more goals from midfield.

Yeah good call - he did score home and away against Bayern a few years ago, but they're not really a big team.
Only exceptions to this rule probably Barcelona, Liverpool, Arsenal who he's scored against. Not forgetting his goal in a CL semi vs Monaco.
I've said before, the rest of the team will score more goals as you will have better possession in better areas of the pitch. Not only that, but I think this midfield is even more harder to score against than the one you currently have. - you will loose Lampard's hard work but you will gain better possession an consequently the opposition will have less chances.S4P2 wrote:Deisler wrote:S4P2 wrote:Deisler wrote:

yeah that one good outstanding season he had, but after that, he scores sometimes, but he helps not to take control over the midfield,
against barca and liverpool you were outplayed, only your never give up mentality helps you,

Doesn't work like that. Also take away set pieces and Lampard has probably the same amount as Ballack.
