N'Zogbia being touted as better than Lennon???!!

We're moving into Twilight Zone territory with that one... one player who tore Flamini a new arsehole last season (the same Flamini who had done so well until that point in Europe and the Prem), and was an integral part of helping a side to almost a CL spot, a regular and a player who then came on in the WC and made an impact (V. Trinidad and Tobago, V Ecuador, V Portugal),

Versus a player who is only just breaking into the regular Newcastle side....

He made 40 odd appearances last year with 6 goals and 8 assists. You should watch him sometime, he's looking better than ever this year, and IMO is in another league to Lennon at the moment. I, and many other that have had the pleasure of watching him, rate him as our best outfield player(Duff included). ok

I'll definitely keep an eye out for him. I have seen him play the odd time I've caught Newcastle on Sky, he does look a good player.

Aaron Lennon looks a VERY good player on the otherhand.

But both are 20, plenty of time on their hands.

Has the Zog represented France at any time? Ie under 21's, under 17's etc.?

He played for the U16's while at Le Harve and he was called up for the U21's this summer but was kicked out for political reasons, the court case with Le Harve etc.

But then France have far better strength in depth in those positions, ZoG had to compete with Malouda, Ribery, Giuly, Pires, Dhorasoo, Govou etc. Lennon wouldn't get anywhere near the French team either.

A four pronged attack with pace and skill, power in the front two.

The movement of these players could potentially tear apart the very best of defences should they continue to progress and become the players their ability suggests they can become.
You should play with Emile and Owen up front.

The fact that people are surprised and have to mention that Lennon got an assist proves that he very rarely has an end product. ok

Last night only highlighted the ability the kid has. Its far from being fulfilled, as he's only 20 after all, but his blistering pace and close ball control are very impressive.

Hilarious to hear Arnaud and a few others proclaiming his game is just about pace, as if he knocks the ball down a blind alley and chases after it.... Somehow I think we all know that just aint true.

    19 - He's still a teenager.

These Lennon haters - keep it coming. His dribbling accuracy at speed is wonderful - certainly on another planet to SWP.

What is End product? Every cross & run at the defence asks a question, and puts the opposition under pressure.
