In other news Boro are after Feyenoord winger Romeo Castalen.

The fee is rumoured to be £6m.

I haven't heard anything about Tuncay since the national team stopped being good - but he always looked like a quality player. Could see him attracting buyers from other leagues. God knows what Steve Bruce would do to him. Ideal foil for Yakubu though. Castelan would be an excellent buy. I'd be surprised if there isn't a bit of competition for both of these guys. I guess Southgate is trying to snap up players in order to avoid competing with Pompey/Villa, if he can grab these two Boro could be pretty good.

Lampard did, So did Geremi, as did Paulo Ferriera. As far as i can see, i think i recall Luke Chadwick performing well in UEFA cup, and CL.

We should be in for him...

Tuncay and Boa Morte as our 2 left wingers would be great.

You'd be a bit left side heavy if you played two left wingers, especially as Tevez likes drifting out that way too Wink

Tuncay is a well marshalled player can play on the left or in the hole behind the main striker.

Apparently he was linked with Arsenal can't see why he'd want to go to Brum though.

If we lost someone like Owen/Martins, Dyer, or Duff then yes, at the moment there isn't really any room for him.

    How? scratch

That simply isn't happening. Even with a Turkish attitude problem he'd still attract better offers than those from Bruce and Southgate, unless they share the same waging policy of West Ham and Newcastle.
