BARRY SILKMAN

Looks like he got caught, and he's now threatening to burn down the English FA, the EPL, Quest, McClaren, big cheeses at clubs...it seems Barry will go down swinging for sure, and he'll bring down the whole house with him.

Sports agent Pini Zahavi is Silkman's partner in crime. Oh this one is gonna get good if they actually try to get to the bottom of this mess. Here's thinking Silkman and Zahavi will enlist the help of even more dodgy powerful characters who operate behind the scenes, will work out a deal with the English FA, the EPL, Quest, and will just sweep everything under the rug.

We will read reports saying "not enough evidence was found....blah blah blah".

I like this guy Barry.

During his playing career he wanted to play in Israel. I'm sure he's proud of his roots. However, when his fatherland was about to enlist him in the army (I am told that it's mandatory for every Jew to enlist in the armed forces), he jetted back to England. I love shifty characters, especially when they get caught!

Did anyone actually see this on Newsnight? I missed it but I have been told by a friend that Silkman mentioned a signing for Arsenal that will be concluded over the next week.

I wonder who that is...

Give'em hell Barry! I for one am convinced they're nothing but a bunch of crooks. Now they come out and say McClaren was not involved in Silkman's deals with Middlesbrough while McClaren was the coach there. I just love it when they lie to us like that. LIE TO THE FANS, JUST LIE TO THE FANS!

No. There are strong rumours about Miguel Veloso for Arsenal - they were saying it just prior to the Netherlands-Belgium match.

I was wondering this as well. I watched newsnight but he was annoying me so I flicked over briefly, and when I went back all I caught was him being asked about a deal at Arsenal and saying it should be concluded on Tuesday.

It could be a number of players as Silkman works with other agents. His past work has included Kanu, Yakubu and Geremi so he may well be another African.

I'm going for Bakari Sagna who is French/West African. We have been linked heavily with him recently. It could of course turn out to be a load of tosh.

Seems like a dud. Silkman only said Arsenal because with repspect it sounds more high profile than "concluding a deal for Middlesbrough." Still £3m for Aliadiere is fine by me.
