Not sure...I'd be crying if I was a Charlton fan. Their signings wouldn't fill me with hope. The things they have a decent manager who will probably fire them back up.

Sheffield Utd to go down and go bankrupt. Hopefully.

No way will Preston, Ipswich or Colchester make the play-offs, Stoke have a chance but the others will be md table.

If i have to stick my neck out even thogh its very early days id say Watford will win it followed by Charlton. The play-offs will be contested between 4 of Wolves, WBA, Sheff Utd, Stoke, Leicester and shock of the season Burnley.

I don't think Stoke will make the play-offs this year unless they can sign a few more quality players. Last year it was their loan signings that nearly took them into the play-offs, but they have been unable to retain some of those players this year, and the actual squad of players they have isn't much better than a lot of teams in the division.

The only player they havnt kept is Hendrie mate so i think they will do well. They just need to get another mid and a striker and they will be up there. Higinbotham, Lawrence, Diao, Delap, Fuller, Matteo etc they have some good quality players.

You're quite right, I thought they had been unable to keep Diao but it seems that he is staying. He was very important for them last season and I thought they would suffer without him. They could still do with a prolific striker, although Fuller is a handful.

I may have to revise my opinion, they have kept a few players that I thought had left. With this squad they could be in the hunt for a play off place.

Yeah they need to get a prolifc striker who can get 15-20 goals and i have no doubt they woud be in the play-offs cos their defence is very solid and midfield has some quality players in it. I know they have been in talks with Malcom Christie but i think they could do better, plus he is so injury prone.

Burnley will be the shock of next season, they have a brilliant manager who has built a decent looking looking team, they could do with a couple new faces but with the likes of Gray, Kiraly, Mahon, Gudjohnson, Blake, Caldwell, Akinbyi, Harley, Thomas, Duff etc they have players capable of pushing for the play-offs. They are being incredibly underestemaited by the bookies.

Fowler will be a great signing for Cardiff but it is hard to guess how many he will score. He still has an eye for goal but i expect him to have the $h!t kicked out of him in the Championship, still i think he should get around 15-20 goals maybe more if given decent service.

Not a bad looking 16 for next season, i expect them to be pushing for the play-offs.

They're getting there. Was disappointing the way that they got away last season, never really put any sustained pressure on the top 6 towards the end.

Are we now using this as our main thread, or reverting back to the old one?

Yeah they started really well and looked like they would finish top 6 but blew it.

Yeah we might as well use this for the new season. We could closer to the season do a prediciton for how each lfootball eague will end up.
