He’s played mostly as a Forward in his career up to now, Rafa should not be playing as a midfielder, but he has the attacking instinct so if he gets in a goalscoring position he more likely would get a goal, Rafa played 4-3-3 last Saturday against Reading, I think that was a game for him to play in the role Crouch was playing.

Does Babel only score when the game is over and the other team has given up?

    Well done Liverpool, deserved win.
We were $h!t defensively and offensively.
    No discuss.
We don't have a team to play Europe this season. I think we will be out from Uefa cup soon.

Very unimpressed with Marseille. Need a few taller players i think, very open at the back, defenders to slow. Rodriguez really is useless <Ale>

Liverpool were far more better. Similar as Mikael Owen comments none of the Marseille players would make in the Liverpool fan.
The midfielders were dissapointing and there wasn't any link between them and the two forwards. Liverpool, on the other hand played well as a block, with an impenetrable defense. So the Marseille players didn't know what to do, which is either play short passes or long passes.

And Marseille really look like the 16th of the league. Well the good thing for them is that they will play the U.E.F.A cup, in which they will have a slight chance to win if they regain their form.

Congratulations for Porto winning very comfortably a rather weak group, and also to Lucho for scoring their 400 european goal.

    Congrats to Porto.

Aside from Porto who I think are a good side, Liverpool have made heavy weather of a poor group. The last 3 games have just proved that there's no way we should have lost to Marseille or Besiktas - even if we were very lucky to get the away point against Porto.
