I can't believe that Frank. It's really not acceptable at Alético's level to defend that poorly. Throwning away the lead twice, after being 2-0 up, that's just bad.

They scored some nice goals, but the goals against were pretty poor. Simão would've scored that penalty btw.

Why doesn't Aguero take the penalties?

That's just typical Patetico. They get a chance to go 2 points behind us but the mere prospect got them to piss their pants. Now they in UEFA Cup spots, which is clearly where they belong. Also, they've only won one of their big games this year (Sevilla) while losing the rest (Madrid, Barcelona, Villareal). Expect them to lose against Valencia as well no matter where they play.

Henry hits the upright. He has looked a bit sharper today. He made a good pass to Iniesta early on, has made a couple of intelligent runs and gone close with this shot and an earlier headed effort.

What a beautiful team goal, absolutely fantastic. Played out of defence in a very tricky situation, with Thuram actually breaking one of the cardinal rules of (English) football and passing it across the face of goal. From there it was a great sequence of passes, and Henry slotted in. He was quite unlucky, hitting the post earlier with a super shot, and also should have won a free kick outside the edge of the box, but because he didn't dive, the ref didn't award anything.

Ronaldinho, Henry, Messi, Iniesta, Toure...all simply awesome today. I hope we absolutely smash Betis, 2-3 more goals. Ronaldinho needs to shoot more.

Also, some very surprising results in other games today - Valladolid and Getafe pulling off improbable wins at Zaragoza and Osasuna.
