On paper there should be tough games for the top three sides, although Man City have lost a bit of form recently, Spurs always lose against Man Utd and Portsmouth have been a bit inconsistent as well. Still, I think at least one of the top three will have dropped points after Saturday.

    Arsenal team news

Out: Almunia, Toure, Gilberto, Rosicky, Van Persie, Eboue, Song, Djourou

Almunia is out for about a week with a twisted thumb. Lehmann should now have a few games to impress.

Could be a close game tomorrow.

How do you twist a thumb?

Maybe he did it trying to stop one of Traore's shots in training. I'm unreliably informed that he can hit a ball really hard.

With my Man U hat on, I hope he doesn't. I hope it's like when City beat Man U earlier this season - Man U having the majority of the play and all the good chances but City getting a freak goal to win it.

    Would piss Arsenal right off.

Manchester City vs. Arsenal (12:45) Premier League 2nd-3rd February Discussion Thread Ss1

I can't see Man City winning this one because they got no decent strikers at the moment, hopefully they can keep a clean sheet like they did against us and Liverp0-0l.

    Portsmouth vs. Chelsea (15:00)

With the signing of Defore i think Harry will probably play 4-4-2 again, but i am not sure if this would be the best tactics to use against Chelsea? On Wed, 4-4-2 against Man Utd and the game was over after 13 mins.

    Tottenham vs. Manchester United (15:00)

Will be a tough game, King and Woodgate have the potential to be one of the best CB partnerships in the Prem (if they stay fit). History + form + players = Man Utd away win but football is a funny old game. We need Rooney to discover his goal scoring form again.

    Finnan-----Carra-----Skrtel---------Riise (sigh)------------

    ---Pennant-------Gerrard------Lucas---------Babel----------

    --------------------Crouch----------Torres-------------------

Wont happen but there's no need to play Mascherano against Sunderland at home, Lucas has been good for us IMO and needs more games

Yes we are (knew it would make a lot of difference that's why I followed Togo's last matches closely & was very happy they fucked up). It also seems that despite not being there Ade tries to be best player during the ANC (is it a coincidence his best shape ever is just before & during a ANC?).

He's had a bad start to be honest, but I think he'll come good, he looks strong and agressive, I just think dropping him will dent his confidence, Rafa spent a bit on him so he must be a decent player, Hyypia has been good for us this season but can't play every game, I don't see why we shouldn't give Skrtel another go today
