    I think Arshavin might come on either

    a) at half time if we're losing/drawing 0-0; or
    b) at about the 60th minute if we're winning or score drawing at half time.

    Is there danger of lots of games being off? That would be annoying.

    We need to win this one. Chelsea next up. It'd be great to go into that level on points, at least.

    @DS

    It doesn't say. But I wouldn't be surprised. Partly depends how transport holds up - they can usually make pitches playable in the top flight

    The fact that they're calling games off more than 24 hours in advance doesn't bode well. I'd be surprised if many below the Championship get played, and also if all the PL games survive.

    Rafa has been worrying me with all this talk about resting both Torres and Alonso. If Xabi doesn't start, I'm interested/worried who will partner Masch in the middle. I think he will have to play Xabi injured in all cause Lucas is a mong and cannot play.

    Torres for me can be put on the bench if need be, but with Pompey's team looking pure shite, tired or not, I fancy him for a goal or two.

    Team I believe we should start with is...

    ----------Reina--------------

    Bob-Carra-Skrtel-Dossena

    -----Masch-Alonso----------

    ----Kuyt-Benny-Riera----

    -----------Babel-----------

    Obviously would prefer Torres to play, but with Gerrard out and taking into account how knackered he looked on Wednesday, I think he will be on the bench for this one.

    If he showed the fight and urgency he did when he came on during midweek than it could work.

    Pompey's defence early in the season looked very good but lately has been leaking goals left, right and center.

    Really depends if Babel is bothered. His attidude has been a talking point with our fans. Doesn't seem bothered have the time and then other times when he shows effort and *passes* where needed he has been very good.
