    Well those Galatasaray derbies v Fenerbahce are always filled with a great atmosphere.

    Dunno about pompey, allthough they impressed when they did that great escaped. Their fans were brilliant back then.

    This years match had an attendence of 62, 000. It looks half empty because the front tier of the sides in the stadium are off limits to supporters so when you look at the match from TV it looks like no ones at the game.

    Dortmund is in the list, while Schalke isn't? Kinda ridiculous.

    You can say a lot about the Orcs, but they have the loudest stadium in the world. Someone actually 'proved' this a while ago if, I remember correctly, something like 115dB on the pitch when Schalke scored.

    Beşiktaş were voted noisiest fans in Europe weren't they? The atmosphere there is unbelievable...they sing from start to finish and carry on regardless of the result.

    Apart from the two teams I support...they are my favourite team after that Ale.

    I could be wrong about the number, otto posted a thread ages ago. Schalke's Arena is designed in a way that magnifies the noise. The fanaticism of Dortmund and Schalke fans is more or less the same, but Schalke's arena is louder because of this.

    Both are great stadiums to visit though, especially Dortmund's Südtribüne.
