Van Basten has a serious problem

he has to two put two players out of these five on the bench in the QF.

Anyone suggesting to play four of them => Sneijder as a DM

will have to go outside with me, so we can have a real good........conversation about that

I'd keep the same first team and use Robben and van Persie as subs again. Robben for instance won't last 90 minutes, but in 30 minutes at the end he can completely change a game.

Depends on the opposition. If the opponent is someone who we we will dominate from the start, then Van Perise will be more useful than Kuyt. If we will need protection on the wings and hard work to ensure Sneijder and VDV have space, than Kuyt.

I thought of adding Seedorf to that list, but that would be a bit cruel wouldn't it

says it all... Robben can be used as a superb super sub a golden super joker....

But wait... our brilliant attacking midfield players are all made from glass so perhaps God will decide who San Marco has to choose....

If we have to play v Russia 4-3-3 makes most sense (same line-up as we started 2nd half), because they play 1 striker; v Sweden, who'll park the bus & play 2 strikers, I'ld play 3 at the back. So that would mean Mathijsen on the bench & RVP in the squad too.

Keep it unchanged. Only thought would be Van Persie in, but there's no real reason to disrupt the chemistry and rhythm of the starting 11.

There is really a lot of quality in this team, when you just who's on the bench it tells you everything.

Kuyt might not be the most talented of those players but he makes alot of runs that the more creative players dont. you can have too many of the same type and Kuyt balances it out so i wouldnt use Van Persie. only way he or Robben should play is if Snejider plays at Dm.And then it should be Robben because he has the pace needed. but in the end i wouldnt change a thing right now.

Wish England had the dutch problem of so many good players to pick from. If they can start the game with a team that can still apply lots of physical pressure then mixing it is okay. Right now the team comes out solid and has the ability to be creative. Subs are so important, with Robben and RVP on the lines any opposition will have their hands full in the second half containing there attacks. Leave the team as it is IMO

On paper ENgland has the best team in the world, 10 WC players+Rooney(who is married now, and should be even better) just look at the cl-final!!!

It's only two years ago we compared him with Pele and Diego, and Lampard with Ronaldinho!!

If he could work as ahrd as Kuyt he really would be something special.

Don't change a winning formula. Kuyt may not have the silky skills but he offers balance and difference of styles to the dynamic.

And of course he's Fey's bastard love child, so we love him for that.

Have to agree on all of that and couldn't have put it better
