I think he'll end up signing a new deal with Villa...and Liverpool will go for another target.

I just want the whole thing sorted. Can't help but think it's distracting from other transfers we need to be doing.
Who dat? There was some pretty tenuous Arsenal links (if Wenger had any sense, he'd see that it'd be a great signing for them) but no-one else that I know of. No space for him at Utd or Chelsea. Spurs, Newcastle?...why take a step down? As his main reason for moving was CL football, it's Liverpool, Arsenal or nothing (as no foreign club is going to come near him at that price) and the latter's looking most likely at present.borocooper wrote:They should sell Barry to the next highest bidder.

A Liverpool fan who doesn't think O'Neill is a c**t! Splendid. A beer for youFootball Genius wrote:I have to say, i've got to congratulate the clubs who have held firm this summer, its kind of set a precedent, and the clubs involved have won or at least demonstrated some power, and have my respect.
MON and Villa have every right to name their price for Barry, and i won't critise either for standing by their valuation...
