It is difficult to know how we will do on Saturday. I don't mean to invoke the wrath of the West Ham and Tottenham fans on here, and obviously your clubs haven't been the most stable of places either thus far this season - but I think we have, in the past two weeks, with Hull, West Ham and Tottenham, played three of the worst teams in the league at the moment, and yet we have been second best in all three games.
Blackburn are a team that we should beat soundly at home. As long as Martins and Owen stay fit, we just need to find some way of getting half decent balls to them and they'll score goals - they're two players with enough quality to rise above the state we are in at the moment - but the problem is in supplying them, whilst we seem to have a crumbling defence too, centre backs who are making mistakes and holding players who cannot hold in front of them. I'm hoping that Beye is fit - he will hopefully bring a bit of stability to our back line, and he's the only full back we have who can overlap. If we can fiddle with the midfield we have, maybe by sticking Geremi in the centre; perhaps by playing a 4-3-3 with Xisco (I don't think it makes any sense to continue with Cacapa and Butt in the centre in a game that we really must try to win), then I think we have a good chance of winning the game.
