Anyone of the Spanish or Shalke will win it,Banega being out is a big blow though.

I'm just glad those mercenary c**ts (City) can't win it now.

It does look like a pretty balanced field with the one pushover being Hannover. Biggrin

Really do hope Athletic win it, would be nice to see them do the double! Ale

Fuck off can't we just get a easy game for a change?

At least my other team Valencia got an easy draw.

A Valencia vs Atheltic final would be perfect.I'm confident we would win. <Ale> Biggrin

Tough draws for the German teams, but not impossible.

Hannover being pushovers? I wouldn't be too surprised to see them knocking out the favourites (of the competition) Atletico. Unlike Schalke, for example, they have nothing to play for in the league and can fully concentrate on their first European run ever. Their style of play is well suited to cup competitions, and I do rate their coach. And they have a number of quality players who can hurt most teams out there.

I'll make a bold statement and say that I think Hannover's chances to advance are better than Schalke's.

Atletico will probably still win though. Better players and more experience.

Atletico Madrid remain favourites for Europa League title while Schalke are out to 11/2 after drawing Athletic Bilbao

Spanish clubs continue to dominate the betting but Huub Stevens' side have been the biggest movers after they were paired with Marcelo Bielsa's Athletic side

I think it's because Banega is injured and the fact we have to play Shalke.

I think Atletico should be a favourite. Bilbao's style is so frantic and I wonder if they can keep it up and I just don't trust Valencia in important games. I think Atletico's style is also more suited for cup competition so I agree that they are looking good.

athletic vs. schalke is like a battle of lighter versions barca vs. real

possession vs. solid aggressive midfield with great individuals upfront

think both german-spanish ties are 50:50, hannover has so many good individuals aswell (of course not the big names of madrid) but there football is so direct and suited for europe, they can hurt madrid
