Just seen MOTD2. There must be a conspiracy from the F.A. to get Liverpool to finish 7th. How else do you explain the handballs not given to them in a 1-2 win. What do you think Luis?

We would be 3rd currently if the refs weren't hellbent on screwing us over.

You only got through to that United game because the ref gave a nonsense free kick decision to you vs us and you scored from it.
West Ham can only do it when Payet is on song - when he goes quiet you suffer.

Indeed. Not exactly a promising sign.
Didn't think we were in as bad a boat as Leeds, but if two experienced people (one of whom is a fan) want to wash their hands of it completely after a couple of months, something is majorly wrong. Most likely either Lerner has told them he's given up hope of selling and is just going to asset strip the club to get his money back, or he is selling but the new owners are going to be even worse.
I said a few weeks ago, jokingly, that we are a dead football club

Even if they u do sneak 4th City will win the CL
Still think United will get 4th which is ridiculous considering how uninspiring they are.

Spurs gotta win all their remaining games, but they staying in the mix.
Perhaps it's on for a grandslam finale: Newcastle vs Spurs where Spurs need to win to get the title and Newcastle need to win to stay up. Finally the N'Zogbia vs Lennon battle can be resolved

Spurs winning would be unbearable. Thankfully they won't take full points from Chelsea, Southampton and Newcastle. At most 6 points there for me which won't be enough.
They are the best footballing team though like we were in 13/14 but it matters f**k all.

You were maybe the most entertaining team, but "the best footballing"?. No way.
There's a thing called "defence" you know, your 13/14 team didn't hear about it. City scored more, conceded less and finished with 2 more points.
I admit your attempts of re-writing history are pretty funny

The greatest thing about Villa being relegated is how badly Collymore is taking it, he had an absolute meltdown last night on talksport, including banging on and on about how he only slapped Ulrika and how Gazza has got away with worse.

Where do you live out of curiosity? If in London then that statement probably would hold true, but I can't imagine there are many Scouse Spurs fans knocking about up in Liverpool in the same way London is crawling with cockney Reds (both of the Manchester and Liverpool variety). You're sitting on the wrong side of the fence if you want to talk about unbearable.

Don't get that thing where everyone from south East England who isn't spurs is supposed to hate spurs - don't see why I'm supposed to hate them any more than Arse/Chels/WHU even if they did steal the points at our place.
They are good to watch but would be happy for Ranieri to win also.
I think Chelsea could be really hard for spurs as their fans would love to stop spurs doing it - would not want to be at that one.
My main hope as a neutral is that it goes down to last day but I won't see it unfolding anyway as we are at home (Sunderland) unfortunately.
Would love us to relegate Big Sam !

If I was playing Newcastle I would have a striker in the box at all times, it's impossible to be offside against us.

I still think 1 point against Sunderland and Norwich was fatal, plus we may aswell start every game 1-0 down with these refs. We should have won that game, just as we should have had atleast a point against Leicester and Norwich, every game we get fucked in some way. Where are our dodgy penalties and offside goals?

I don't mean to be a c**t as there is nothing pleasurable about kicking a man when (his team is) already struggling, but logically it's fair to say that Newcastle just don't have the ball in and around the opponent box enough times to profit from those you just described. Increase the instances of attacking moves and you'll get them. Because the standard of refereeing in the league is shambolic.

Re: Premier League 16-21 April 2016
There's more to it than that, Leicester barely touched us but they got their offside goal, same with Man City last night, Aguero was standing offside for 30 seconds before his goal, at no point was he onside, and it was a set piece. Literally the easiest call a linesman will ever have to make. The richest sports league in the world and it's fucking amateur hour. In fact when do Leicester ever batter their opponent? But they have had 11 penalties? f**k me.
