I just connected to a stream to watch the game, and they were showing the Spurs-Fulham FA cup match. But as soon as Berbatov got the 3rd goal, they just switched to have extra buildup to the Barca-Valencia game

Spurs playing great though, three good goals! Still.....two games that I would much prefer to watch are in Spain tonight!

Strangely enough, I am. I don't know why, because this is one of our toughest games of the season. But I think we can get something today.

Valencia: Butelle, Miguel, Albiol, Ayala, Moretti, Angule, Marchena, Albelda, Silva, Villa, Morientes
Expect lots of fouls from the destructive midfield of Marchena and Albelda.

Barcelona: Valdes, Oleguer, Puyol, Edmilson ( ), Zambrotta, Marquez, Deco, Xavi, Iniesta, Ronaldinho, Gudjohnsen!
I guess Rijkaard feels Guddy can handle the physical game we will get today better than Saviola. Good choice IMO

I think its safe to say that Real & Nastic have been relegated, the 3rd spot looks like it will be a battle to the end.

It's between Levante, Athletic, and Celta IMO. Mallorca are shit but somehow always get a result at home when they need one. And I think Betis are in pretty good form now and will be safe once they get some easier games.

Although it all depends on when each of these teams gets to play Madrid and pick up the free 3 points

Fantastic match so far. Valencia really surprised me by coming out and pressuring us in the first 10 mins. It was about as end-to-end as you'll see in La Liga, with both teams' forcing each other into mistakes. Then the game slowly settled into the usual and more expected rhythm of Valencia sitting back and letting us have all the possession.

I really think we need to bring Giuly or Messi on. Right now Valencia's back 4 are sitting right on the edge of their penalty box, and are extremely close together. We're not stretching them at all, because Angulo and Silva have been tracking back and helping them out. Having someone stay wide can open up some real possibilities for us.

This is the kind of game where 1 goal could win it, so it was disappointing that Guddy missed that easy chance midway through the half. Overall I've liked his play though. And speaking of crucial goals, what a brilliant save by Valdes from Villa early in the half. Also, Deco looked tired towards the end of the half, can't have him losing concentration and giving the ball away like he was.
