It would be nice to see him get a proper run in the team/injury free, same with aurelio.

And Maschera-... No wait, he played well today. He's world class again.
Doubt you'd have found too many La Liga fans who wouldn't have found a place in their squad for Gonzo at the end of last season. How things change.

Yeah, people just aren't willing to give players time when moving between leagues that have historically always been tough on players. eg. Italy to Spain or Spain/South America to England.

"Example of a good professional"...
Corinthians was in the relegation zone. Argentina called up Mascherano for the friendly against Brazil. Corinthians said that they couldn't let him go because they would have a very important match on the same day. On the previous weekend Mascherano, an example of a good professional, wanted to be sent off to play against Brazil in the following weeked. He offendend the referee and got a red card in the beggining of the second half. Corinthians lost and remained in the relegation zone.

Hmmm. Helps to have a S.Amerian prospective. You would never season Robinho/Gago/Higuain do this sort of thing
