Bayern Munich midfielder Mark van Bommel will be available for the second leg of their UEFA Champions League game with Milan after having his suspension reduced.
The Dutch star received a suspended one-match ban for gesturing to the crowd during Bayern's last 16 first leg encounter at Real Madrid, and was then sent off in the return leg.
His subsequent two-match ban has, however, now been reduced following an appeal by the Bundesliga champions and the influential battler will be back in action for the quarter-final second leg at the Allianz Arena on April 11th.
"The news is a huge relief for us and will give us a great boost ahead of the duel with Milan," commented delighted Bayern coach Ottmar Hitzfeld.
