Fed up with Internationals, thought to get back to the Premiership name your top ten Premiership footballers.

Whether based on form, longevity or the last couple of seasons.

Can do it by defenders, midfielders and strikers as well if you like as comparing Van Persie and Terry looks abit stupid.

He always impresses me whenever I see him. So hard to get past and very versatile as well.

Rio can be more commanding and Terry or Vidic can be more dominating but he has alot of aspects of both sides.

Yeah, i havent watched Arsenal much this season, only watched the Wigan game at home.

But at times when Arsenal have played with a high line if the oppo have managed to beat the offside trap, Toure gets back so quickly, and like you said hard to beat, great quality in a defender. Something other CB's mentioned lacked, no disrespect.

Toure is better on the ball than the entire Juve back four. He's great on one vs one but he's also great on the ball; watch him play the ball out of the defence late in games when we are desperately in need of a goal ok His drawback as a CB in England is he isn't dominant in the air, i reckon he'd be much more better in spain.

I've seen Toure countless times, very fast and strong as an ox, dumb as one also. You are, of course, wrong, each Juve defender is more comfortable on the ball (Balzaretti is more comfortable than most of your squad), clumsily bumbling into the opposition half and punting shots does not you good on the ball.

    Touré is far from clumsy.

And its not as though we have a technically poor squad, I don't know where a lot of people on this board get the idea from that we're just a bunch of athlete's and that none of our players have a decent touch or technique... do they not watch us?

I read somewhere when Arsene sends scouts to watch a player the first thing he asks is "Does he have good technique?"

I think senderos is the only clumnsy player we have in our squad, all others are very comfortbale on the ball.

I heard that as well. Yep Senderos is certainly clumsy, and Lehmann can be a bit erratic as well - even flamini, who isn't particularly flamboyant has very good technique
