If Makaay-Poldi didn't work then perhaps Poldi should have put a bit more effort into it. Unlike the entirity of last season.

Makaay-Klose-Toni could have been the best striking line-up of Europe, but now you'll have Poldi riding Toni and Klose's coat tails. Without really meriting his inclusion.
Both Pizarro and Makaay were much better than Podolski, but guess who are forced out of the club?!

If Poldi-Klose and Poldi-Toni doesn't work (and it won't), who are you going to blame then?

I never said they would be the perfect combo from day one

in fact, I suspect Toni needs some time to settle; then there are so many midfield options now that it will take a while to find a first eleven

the idea of Schweini or Jansen + Ze Roberto + Ribery feeding Klose, Toni and Poldi gives me goosebumps though

a pity that those lads don't play in the CL

they would be "haushohe Favoriten"

I think you meant bayern to win the world cup this season

since probably only 2 of the strikers will play at any time (as opposed to the barca team where all 4 could play), pick the best 2 (toni and klose), and there are plenty of teams with a better striker force. Even if you say your top 3 then newcastle have a better strike force with martins, viduka and owen.

Eto - Didnt play in the WC.

No one cares about international goals, which explains why the most prolific international striker at the moment resides in Divsion 3. Klose the WC top scorer was put on the market for a mere £10m and not one big club, tried to buy him.

As soon as I saw the Bayern strikeforce and straight away went to place a bet on Bayern winning the CL and Podolski/Klose being top scorer for the 2007/2008 season. However the bookies didnt take my bet as apparently the great bayern didnt qualify.

Ps good goal by dandruff, however the fact that it was scored in the German league negates any possible praise bestowed upon on it.
