Benelux to bid for 2018 World Cup

Although their attempt to get around the joint-hosts is admirable (saying they are one political entity), I still can't see them winning it. Because it would mean they have to field a combined football team as well, since there's no way FIFA will allow Luxembourg to enter a World Cup

how many players from Luxembourg or Belgium would actually make this combined team?

What is Luxemburg going to add!!! Anyway, it would be a good thing lots of new stadium plans. But Belgium....they need to develop a lot as well. It like driving through Poland sometimes.

Well, it's in 2018. So maybe some of the Belgian youngsters who impressed at the recent tournament can make the combined team. But still, I think it's a no-go.

It would rediculous to do it somewhere else in Europe! If it's is Europese turn it has to be in the lowlands....

I'm actually fairly confident that England will get the 2018 World Cup, the only thing that might hold us back is the fact that we will have had the Olympics 6 years earlier
